Four kilometres from Le Domaine de l’Origan, discover the medieval past of the region in one of its most fabulous villages: Entrevaux, designed by Vauban. This medieval town surrounded by defensive walls used to be the overhang of the French kingdom. Its citadel offers wonderful views of the twists and turns of the river Var.
Do not miss the Powder Museum, which pays tribute to the stronghold represented by Entrevaux with the help of display panels which tell the visitors about the military adventures that took place in the citadel. Access the Museum through an 800-metre stone ramp built on a narrow rocky spur. A bit further, you will find an outstanding cathedral that hosts organs and furniture which are designated as Heritage Sites as well as 17th and 18th-century works that will delight the art connoisseurs. The Motorbike Museum –more modern– and its numerous models will make nostalgia rise up in the heart of any fanatic of the two-wheel world.
Come to our naturist village and enjoy the multiple surprises offered by Nice and its surroundings. Grasse and its perfumes, Biot and its glass blowers, Cannes and its islands, Saint Paul de Vence and its Maeght foundation are some of the discoveries that will enchant the most demanding visitors.
